Cannabis sativa is found primarily in hot, dry climates with long sunny days, or grown in a context that can emulate that. Areas like Africa, Central America, Southeast Asia, and western portions of Asia.

Sativa plants are tall and thin with finger-like leaves. They can grow to heights upwards of 12 feet, and they take longer to mature than some other types of cannabis.

Sativa often has lower doses of CBD and higher doses of THC, and often produces a “mind high,” or an energising, anxiety-reducing effect. If you use sativa-dominant strains, you may feel productive and creative, not relaxed and lethargic.

Due to its stimulating nature, you’ll be best off using sativa in the daytime, it’s not usually the best plan to try and sleep whilst experiencing its effects.

Within the following links, we here at CBDzine have compiled a list of some of Sativa strains. Please be aware that effects felt from these strains may vary depending on whether they are consumed in conjunction with Tobacco, consumed Pure, or made into Edibles.
